5 Tips for Safe Winter Driving

Colder weather means more hazards for drivers.  Here are five suggestions, courtesy of Allstate, to help make driving in low temperatures and wet weather safer. Be ready.  Carry an emergency kit with an ice pick, snow shovel and brush, screwdrivers, pliers and a wrench.  Also pack sand or kitty litter for traction, a flashlight, batteries, extra warm clothing and thermal blankets.
